Paper High

Paper High - Paper High was established in 2001 and is a fair trade BAFTS registered producer which works closely with local artisans in Nepal and India to create recycled, eco-friendly and unusual paper products. The leather photo albums are made from Indian Khadda paper - produced from recycled textile cotton. The Nepalise paper in the Lokta products is made from the bark of the Lokta shrub, which is a fast-growing and plentiful plant from the foothills of the Himalayas. In addition, Paper High works with the Maximus Conservation Trust, an elephant charity in Sri Lanka which produces the elephant dung paper. Paper High also provides the beautiful, natural paddy husk paper - recycled from rice husk waste products. A fantastically environmentally-friendly supplier.
LemonSplash Photography, wedding photographers based in Chichester in West Sussex are proud to support this ethical and green initiative and most of the papers inside our ethical albums are produced through Paper High.

Khadda Leather Album

In our search to find new and exciting products. LemonSplash Photography have managed to find yet another exciting new and ethical way of displaying your wedding memories. The Khadda Wedding Leather Album.
These fantastic eco-friendly and fair trade albums make perfect ethical gifts - for you or a loved one. They are each handmade with a leather binding. The paper is unique Indian khadda paper. This paper is created by recycling bleached, hard-spun, cotton rags left over from the massive Indian garment industry. The album's 30 individual sheets are separated by protective tissue paper, allowing you to use 60 separate pages for your memories. Each photograph is then flush mounted onto the page using our finest bamboo paper to create a stunning album of the events of your day.
This large leather album measures 260mm x 240mm. The cover is beautifully embossed by hand (see small image) to create a striking yet subtle effect. The embossing is a lovely detail rather than an overpowering effect.

Wedding Dresses

>> Wednesday, 15 April 2009

When it comes to the fine detail of photography nothing is more important than showing off the brides dress to its full. After all every bride spends countless hours looking for "The Dress".
We also take a great deal of care not just photographing your dress but also in editing the final shots to show all the detail in your dress. I make a point of photographing not just your dress whilst you are wearing it but also before hand whilst it is simply hanging on a rail. This coupled with photographing all your accessories builds a picture of your day from the moment it begins. You can see from the shot opposite that the dress just hanging from the wardrobe was a pretty uninspiring shot but with some careful use of editing techniques I was able to bring out the silky feel of the dress and create a shot that the bride was happy to have in her final wedding album.
All LemonSplash Photography wedding packages start at the brides house or where she is getting ready and follow the day from there until the last guests are leaving late into the evening.
If you would like more information on any of our packages then please use the contact form on our website at www.lemonsplash.co.uk and we will get back to you within 24 hours of your enquiry.
