Trash The Dress

>> Wednesday, 17 June 2009

With the vows taken and the honeymoon over, most brides shake down their wedding dress, wrap it in acid-free tissue paper and pack it away, never to be seen again. But there is another option. A growing number of brave brides have chosen to throw caution to the wind and their big-day dresses to the elements. The idea behind Trash the Dress is simple - instead of letting your gown fester in the back of a cupboard, slip it back on for a photo shoot where it gets wet and muddy and you end up with some distinctive photographs that are a world away from traditional twee wedding portraits.
"Trash my wedding dress are you mad, do you know how much it cost, how much I love it".
First of all its not about destroying your beautiful wedding dress, its about creating arty, unusual and fabulous post wedding shots in locations you just would not have dared to go on your wedding day. Now LemonSplash Photography know this wont be every ones taste but we can assure you that to date no wedding dress has been harmed in the making of these images.
If you are adventurous and are looking for a day full of fun with some timeless images to remember the day then contact us via our website for an informal chat about what you would really like to do in your dress and where you would like to do it at www.lemonsplash.co.uk
