Still Life on Grey Days

Once again the weather is not conducive for taking photographs outside. Its that dull flat, grey half light that makes everything look flat. So instead of photographing outside I decided to setup a still life on a small camping table and see what would come of it.
This was a very easy image to create. I started by photographing some fruit from my fruit bowl and placed a white sheet underneath and around it to create the blank canvas I needed to add the text. The butterflies were lifted from an illustrator file and then place around the image to give the impression that they had fed on the fruit and were now flying away. Lastly a texture and some curls were added in photoshop. I hope you like the image and maybe its given you some inspiration to try something similar.
